I’m more comfortable being a behind-the-scenes kind of gal. I get nervous talking with reporters or standing before a roomful of people. But it’s time to grow. Put myself out there. Below are speaker topics I can address and the outlets where I’ve appeared.
Speech Topics
As a speaker, I can tackle the same theme addressed in my blog, “The Accidental Blogger.” Adversity happens to everyone. The difference between those who overcome and those who become immobilized or embittered is often as simple as how the hardship is viewed. Could pain and suffering lead to something greater and reveal your purpose in life? I think so. My message is one of hope and reinvention. Interested? Contact me at: lori@lorikeesey.com.
Media Appearances

The Price of Business Digital Network has started a new series of commentaries from thought leaders. I don’t know about being a thought leader, but I’m now a syndicated columnist and speaker on the network. Posts can be found here:

Afraid of getting old and becoming irrelevant? Kiran Kumar puts the kibosh on that thinking. Her podcast, “You Are Not Invisible After 50,” is among the top 10% most shared on Spotify. You can listen to her interview with me at https://spoti.fi/3YVusNI or https://apple.co/3SsRn0Z. OR you can visit her website: https://www.youarenotinvisibleafter50.com/podcast.

Author/Podcaster Debbie Terry invites people from all walks of life to share their stories about hope and restoration. Not required, thank goodness, is experience as a professional speaker. Debbie’s podcast is more like two friends talking. She called our conversation, “When Trauma Happens and Finding Purpose.”

PJNET.tv spotlights authors, political candidates, publishers, podcasters, among others, in a 30-minute live format. I chatted with host Mark Prasek a few months ago. Watch the interview on YouTube.

If you’re in the Knoxville, Tennessee, area on April 22, 2023, make plans to attend the Restoration Warriors Women’s Conference. Organizer Debbie Terry has invited me to be one of the speakers.
